EHLE Institute delegates visit Diponegoro University to forge cooperation in language education

In an effort to strengthen the cooperation outlined in the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between EHLE Institute and the Japanese Language and Culture Program at the University of Diponegoro, two distinguished delegates, Tanaka Sensei and Mrs. Handa, embarked on a purposeful visit on Thursday, February 15, 2024.

The primary objective of their visit was to plan a series of activities aimed at improving the Japanese language proficiency of students and faculty members. The delegates engaged in fruitful discussions with faculty members led by Yuli Sensei, who presented a comprehensive plan detailing various initiatives. One of the key outcomes of the discussions was the unanimous decision to implement several skill enhancement programs. These include workshops tailored to improve students’ Japanese language skills, the provision of teaching materials from EHLE, and the facilitation of a JLPT N3 mock exam.

The meeting began with an overview of the proposed activities by Yuli Sensei, followed by a detailed explanation of the technical details of each program by the EHLE representatives. In the midst of the discussions, Professor Alamsyah, the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, took the opportunity to meet with the EHLE delegates and expressed his wholehearted support for the collaborative efforts. He emphasized the importance of such partnerships and expressed his hope for further expansion in the coming years.
The visit concluded on a note of optimism, with both parties committed to fostering a robust partnership that enriches language education. The shared aspiration is to foster a collaborative framework that transcends boundaries and fosters mutual growth and development.
