On Thursday, March 13, 2025, at the multipurpose building of the Faculty of Humanity, the Japanese Language and Culture Undergraduate Study Program of Diponegoro University held an Entrepreneurship Workshop with the theme “Success Strategies in Product Determination and Financial Management” by presenting Dr. Ir. Baginda Iskandar Moeda Tampoebolon, M.Sc., IPM, ASEAN Eng. as a speaker. This event was attended by lecturers in charge of entrepreneurship courses, Budi Mulyadi, S.Pd., M.Hum., Dewi Sarasawati Sakariah, S.S., M.Si., Nisia Nur Dwi Agusta, S.S., M.Si., Ichlasul Ayyub, S.S., M.Si., and all students of the Japanese Language and Culture Undergraduate Study Program, class of 2022.
In this entrepreneurship workshop, Mr. Baginda motivated the students to dare to take risks and enter the world of entrepreneurship. He said that there needs to be some encouragement in starting a business. But not only that, in starting a business we must also have a clear and concrete strategy. Everyone starts a business from a variety of backgrounds, some start from hobbies, collaboration with friends, and some start from economic constraints. Mr. Baginda also explained that a business can be started from a small scope, such as family or close friends. In looking for business opportunities, it is important to calculate costs carefully and set a strategic profit margin. In addition, courage in promoting products and building relationships with consumers will grow customer trust. According to Dr. Baginda, there is no success without hard work. He emphasized that students should not feel inferior to others but rather focus and be persistent in developing their own businesses. Consistent hard work will result in success.
