S1 Japanese Language and Culture Study Program, Faculty of Humanities, Diponegoro University, on May 28, 2022 held an online entrepreneurship workshop by presenting Mrs. Dinda Gayatri Ranadireksa, MA., Ph.D from Widyatama University, Bandung as speaker for this workshop. The entrepreneurship workshop that took place this time brought the theme “Tips to become an Entrepreneur in the Japanese Field”. Currently she is a lecturer in Japanese at Widyatama University. In addition to having a lot of experience as a teacher, she also has a lot of experience as a Master of Ceremony (MC) in various Japanese events and even world events, and also has a lot of experience as an interpreter and translator in various Japanese and Indonesian companies. According to her, in identifying ideas, we also have to look at the reality of the existing market. Even though we have great ideals for an idea, if the market doesn’t need it then the effort we make is not optimal. “It doesn’t mean that we drop our idealism, but we have to look at the market discharge that is actually selling well, that’s what is called an entrepreneur,” she explained. In addition, in this workshop, she conveyed about job prospects as graduates of Japanese Language and Culture, which turns out to be a lot of jobs that we can pursue as graduates of Japanese Language and Culture. Then we can find out about his motivation, qualifications, and entrepreneurial steps that will maximize our business or as additional insight for those of us who are entrepreneurship. The conclusion that can be drawn from her presentation in this workshop is, that in the world of entrepreneurship, creativity, innovation, perseverance, patience, and ability is needed in various aspects, both soft skills and hard skills. Tips so that we can run the world of entrepreneurship well are to have motivation, know qualifications, determine the steps that must be carried out, develop Leadership skills, make various preparations and apply effective ways of running a business. Entrepreneurship workshop with Ms. Dinda Gayatri Ranadireksa this time it went very smoothly and was attended by approximately 250 students and lecturers of the Japanese Language and Culture Study Program. The topics presented were very interesting so that many students were active and interactive in this workshop, especially for students who wanted to become entrepreneurs in the future. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, there was no question session at this workshop.
