From Ideas to Enterprise: Ichiba Fest 2025 Showcases Student Talent

Semarang, May 26, 2025 – Dozens of students filled the Crop Circle and Gedung Serba Guna (GSG) of the Faculty of Humanities, Diponegoro University (FIB Undip), to enliven the Ichiba Fest 2025 event organized by the 2022 cohort of Japanese Language and Culture students. In collaboration with Himawari, Hayamwuruk, and Kawan, the event was held for one day on Monday, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM (26/5).

The event featured entrepreneurial activities created by the 2022 cohort of Japanese Language and Culture students. A total of 27 student entrepreneurship groups participated and helped bring the event to life. Several lecturers and educational staff also showed their support by purchasing products that showcased the students’ creativity and innovation.
According to one of the lecturers from the Japanese Language and Culture undergraduate program, Ms. Nisia Nur Dwi Agusta, the festival aimed to highlight the students’ creativity, teamwork, and entrepreneurial interests. “This event demonstrates the unity of mina-san and shows their interest in entrepreneurship,” she said during an interview at the venue.

The bazaar successfully attracted many customers to buy the products sold by the students of the 2022 cohort. The event concluded with a closing by the MC and a group photo session with the 2022 cohort and the lecturers of the Entrepreneurship course.
