On Thursday, January 14, 2021, in collaboration with the Japanese Language and Culture Study Program, the Faculty of Humanity, Diponegoro University with IEPF, JICA, UIN and Udayana University, an online general lecture was held by presenting Prof. Shinji Nobira from Japan’s Aichi University. He is a professional in the field of educational philosophy, environment, and morals.
For at least two hours Prof. Shinji Nobira explained about the importance of environmental education and how environmental education is taught to students and how students in Japan apply the environmental education they receive in school in everyday life.
This online public lecture event was attended by approximately 250 participants from three universities, namely Diponegoro University, UIN Jakarta and Udayana University. This event ran smoothly, many students generally asked Prof Shinji Nobira regarding environmental education in Japan.
