Himawari Undip Goes to School

The BKJ Undergraduate Student Association Community Service Division has held an activity entitled “Himawari Goes to School” which was held online for 4 sessions: 6, 13, 21, and 27 July 2022.
Himawari Goes to School aims to be a forum for undergraduate students of Japanese Language and Culture at Diponegoro University to apply their skills in teaching Japanese to high school students or equivalent.
Four shidousha were chosen from students majoring in Japanese Language and Culture at Diponegoro University, namely Aliyya Keumala Hayati Karebet (class of 2019), Azis Wahyu Laksono (class of 2019), Veronica Bernice Marlina (class of 2019), and Zanuar Sholihul Syafnur (class of 2021).
They were accompanied by three lecturers from the Diponegoro University Japanese Language and Culture Study Program, namely Mr. Budi Mulyadi, S. Pd., M. Hum., Ms. Yuliani Rahmah, S. Pd., M. Hum., and Ms. Dewi Saraswati Sakariah, S.S., M.Si.
In 2022, HIMAGOES collaborates with Japanese language extracurricular at SMA Negeri 12 Semarang, NIJI by presenting materials 1) Introduction to hiragana and katakana letters; 2) Use of katakana letters; 3) Materials of culture, habits of the Japanese people; 4) Cultural material, matsuri in Japan.
At the end of the meeting, with the accumulation of student activity points, a student named Alek Sandra Septia Ningrum was selected as the recipient of the main prize in the form of a JLPT N5 learning book.
