On Saturday and Sunday from the date of 25th and 26th of March 2023, in the C.1 classroom building at the Faculty of Humanities, Japanese Language and Culture’s major held an offline talk show named “Upgrading Himawari” with different themed sessions each day and four speakers.
The purpose of this talk show is a place or an activity where the management staff of Himawari organization can learn much about leadership, and organizations in general. In short, it helps teams to learn how to upgrade themselves as a person while being a management member of the organization. The form of this activity is a talk show guided by a master’s ceremony, and a moderator, and also opened the opportunity for a questions and answers session for the participants.
The talk show was divided into two days, day one was held with two speakers with two materials brought up, and day 2 with two speakers, and two materials as well which brings a total of 4 topic materials brought. The talk show brought up helpful and interesting topics, such as, “Kehimawarian”, with Miss Tribuana Tunggadewi K.B as the first speaker, “Management of Organization, Meetings, and Committees”, with Mr. Jordan Vegard Ahar as the second speaker, “Leadership dan Teamwork”, with Mr. Essa Abdan Syahida as the third speaker, and, “Teknik Sidang” with Mr. Ary Amar Haq as the fourth and last speaker of the show. Each speaker brought very interesting topics to share their knowledge and experiences. In the topic, “Kehimawarian” participants learned about the history, philosophy, and information about the organization. In, “Management of Organization, Meetings, and Committees” participants learned all about the roots of organizations, meetings, and committee work. In, “Leadership dan Teamwork” participants were able to learn about leaders, leadership, team, and teamwork. Lastly in, “Trial Technique” participants learned about the process of a meeting/assembly/formal forum. All of the topics mentioned above were all helpful for the participants to learn. While the show went on, the participants were active and listened well throughout the show.
All of the topic materials mentioned above were all basic needs for management members of the organization, but they gave a very helpful insight on where to start the journey of being in and going through the hardworking process in the organization.
