February 28, 2025, Japanese Language and Culture Student Association of Diponegoro University (Himawari) has carried out the inaugarution of the new Himawari staff for the 2025 period which was held in the Multipurpose Building, Faculty of Humanity. The event was attended by the Secretary of the Japanese Language and Culture Study Program, Mrs. Elizabeth Ika Hesti A. N. R., S.S., M.Hum., Himawari 2025 Advisor, Mrs. Dewi Saraswati Sakariah, S.S., M.Si. and Mr. Ichlasul Ayyub, S.S., M.Si., Sensei-gata, DPPO, Chairman of BEM FIB, Chairman of the FIB Student Senate, member of Himawari, and all staff of Himawari 2025 period. Although the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs of FIB, Mrs. Eta Farmecelia Nurulhady, S.S., M.Hum., M.A., Ph.D., and the Head of the Japanese Language and Culture Study Program, Mr. Zaki Ainul Fadli, S.S., M.Hum., were unable to attend this inauguration, their support was still felt by all participants.
The inauguration ceremony began with the opening, then singing the Indonesia Raya and Mars Undip, also continued with welcome speech from the Himawari 2025 Advisor, Mr. Ichlasul Ayyub, S.S., M.Si., who conveyed messages and motivation to Himawari staff for the 2025 period and thanked for Himawari staff for the 2024 period who had worked hard during the one-year period. The next speech was also given by the Secretary of the Japanese Language and Culture Study Program, Mrs. Elizabeth Ika Hesti A. N. R., S.S., M.Hum., who also conveyed messages, impressions, and hopes for Himawari in the future.
The handover of chairman of Himawari session began with speech from Arsyafa’at as Chairman of Himawari for the 2024 period, followed by speech from Revaldo Jasson Polansekan as Chairman of Himawari for the 2025 period. The handover of chairman was marked by the signing of the official report carried out by Arsyafa’at as the first side, to Revaldo Jasson Polansaken as the second side. In addition, a kaichou badge was also handed over as a symbolic form of handing over the position. The event continued with the inauguration and reading of the pledge which must be followed by all staff of Himawari 2025 period. After the official report were read, the inauguration procession was closed with the cutting of tumpeng and a photo session together.
