Training on Basic Translations

The translation is an important thing to be mastered for learners of foreign languages so that they can correctly interpret the purpose of the speaker/writer. However, there are many things that need to be observed/bridged in relation to differences in vocabulary, grammar, and culture. The community service activity was held on Wednesday, October 23, 2013, at the Undip Faculty of Cultural Sciences Semarang. This activity starts at 10.00 WIB and ends at 13.00 WIB. This activity presents speakers who have long been involved in translation activities, both from Japanese to Indonesia, and vice versa. Participants in the activity come from students (prospective graduates) of Japanese Literature S1 study programs. Participants numbered 90 people, who came from semester 3, 5, and 7. This activity was also attended by almost all Japanese literature lecturers and involved several students who were directly involved in the preparation and implementation of this training.
